Zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) are often a key part of broader transportation decarbonization goals. As more ZEVs enter the market, there is a need to understand the factors that influence electric vehicle adoption. The Electric Vehicle Survey (EVS) aims to collect data on vehicle powertrain preferences, including different types of ZEVs such as plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), battery electric vehicle (BEV), and extended range electric vehicle (EREV), and electric vehicle charging station preferences in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). EVS will be launched in April 2025.
Your participation in this survey will be useful towards developing a deeper understanding of preferences towards ZEVs and subsequently preparing the GTHA for the increased use of ZEVs.
